Climate protection extends beyond the reduction of carbon emissions – it is a strategy of sustainability for the overall conservation of natural resources. Prenova designs and executes on climate protection strategies for reducing energy consumption, increasing asset and equipment efficiencies, extending asset life, reducing asset replacement needs, and reducing the impact of unplanned maintenance factors (such as the amount of service “truck rolls”). An improvement in each of these areas creates a resulting positive impact for our customers in reducing their costs, and protects our climate by reducing consumption of natural resources. All committed deliverables are regularly measured against the plan and reviewed with the customer to ensure that the customer’s goals are met.

Problem:  Most companies in the United States, Britain, Canada, and China have not created strategies or plans to address the challenge of climate protection, despite growing concerns about global warming. Nearly two-thirds of the senior business executives surveyed said no one in their organization had been tasked with overseeing such a strategy.(1) How can a company establish and implement a climate protection strategy that provides measurable economic opportunity?

Solution: Emissions of greenhouse gases can be reduced by the efficient use of energy and the adoption of renewable energy sources where economically viable. Prenova understands how to drive these initiatives across a customer’s portfolio of locations, and creates customized climate protection strategies that meet the demands of both economic and environmental returns.

Prenova is able to create an integrated energy and climate protection strategy through the application of its Clean Tech® solution set on both the supply side (Renewable Energy) and the demand side (Demand Response offerings, Sustainable Energy and Emissions Reductions and You’ve Got the Power to be Green!SM).  Our solutions are clean, reliable, and environmentally friendly.  Planning begins with a risk assessment and priorities-setting exercise regarding economics and environmental opportunities. We’ll then match the optimal solution to reach agreed-upon objectives. Solutions can be as simple as establishing workplace conservation goals for employees, or as robust as a full-scale, sustainable energy efficiency initiative through the remote optimization of energy-related assets.

Prenova goes several steps further with our strategic planning process – we implement the plan, and we accept the accountability for delivering the outcomes. Our customers do not experience the all-too-common gap between strategy and implementation. We work with our customers to set measures for success, establish baselines, and regularly measure and track outcomes. We guarantee results.

Outcome: We help our customers combine economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility. This creates a strong customer bottom line and fosters environmental stewardship, offering a better future for coming generations.
