ATLANTA, January 24, 2007 - Prenova announced today that it will be taking care of energy management business for this office supply retailer. Energy management solutions provided by Prenova will include energy monitoring services and a Parameter Standardization Program to more than 1,100 locations across the United States.
Through its Monitoring services, Prenova provides an automated solution that remotely monitors alarms generated by an energy management system (EMS) for controlled energy-related assets and critical equipment. This allows for rapid analysis and resolution of operational conditions exceeding pre-established business tolerances or thresholds. Prenova’s Real Time Operations Center (RTOC), which operates 24 x 7 x 365, will also take calls from stores who are experiencing issues with controlled assets. A Parameter Standardization Program (PSP) will also be deployed for this retailer. The PSP is a diagnostics program that analyzes and reports on those assets at each site that are operating out of the range prescribed by the office supply retailer’s business operating standards. This program operates through a remote connection to the retailer’s EMS. With the customer’s approval, Prenova can implement automated resetting of compliance parameters at all sites in the program, ensuring that business operations are maintained and that energy consumption is optimized.
