Major Retailer Purchases Extended Service Agreement with Prenova

ATLANTA, August 25, 2006 - Prenova is pleased to announce that a major retailer and one of its long-standing energy customers has extended their service agreement for two additional years and will begin its Asset OptimizationSM solution in more than 40 of its EMS (Energy Management Systems) equipped stores nationwide. The extended agreement also includes Price Risk Management (Supply) and Rebates Management.

This major retailer, which specializes in innovative, high-quality home design products, has more than 100 stores nationwide presently without EMS, making them candidates for Prenova's Asset Optimization Bundled Solution. The first Bundled Solutions Proof of Value site is planned for first quarter 2007.

Prenova’s Bundled Solution incorporates the Asset OptimizationSM solution along with Prenova’s Bundled EMS solution which provides Prenova’s own PivotSM Energy Management System to customers who do not have an EMS currently in place.  The Bundled Solution includes design, specification, purchase, installation and warranty repair of the Pivot EMS system for the life of the contract term.  Customers may also elect to finance the system over a period of 3 to 5 years.  The advantage of the Bundled Solution is that customers can begin receiving savings immediately that are expected to exceed the monthly cost of the solution, with no upfront capital or expense required.
