Prenova's Growth Exceeds Expectations
ATLANTA, GA - March 31, 2008 - Prenova’s growth in 2007 and into 2008 has been the best in the company’s history. With energy prices continuing to escalate, and the increasing interest in sustainable energy solutions to reduce carbon footprints, Prenova’ suite of enterprise energy management solution is extremely well positioned to take advantage of the surge in business.
"We are excited about the value that our technology-enabled solutions drive for both our customers and the environment,” said Michael Nark, President and CEO of Prenova. "Last year alone, we drove close to 1 billion in kWh savings for our customer base. Given our unprecedented growth, and the growing interest in our ability to drive and sustain measureable value, we are moving to a new facility in Atlanta next month. This move into Class A space will allow us to be more efficient in delivering our solutions to our customers, and will also allow us to become carbon neutral by 2010.”
Some of the growth highlights include the following:
- Increase in customer base of over 50%
- Increase in number of sites actively controlled for energy usage by almost 200%
- Increase in core booked revenue of over 35%
- Increase in number of employees by 30%
