Prenova and Quiznos have rolled out their Q-Energy program to Quiznos franchisees in Texas to assist them in securing the lowest cost for electricity consumed in their stores. Prenova’s long-standing relationships with Texas-based marketers, and Prenova’s ability to analyze complex market trends, drove significant savings to the franchisees’ bottom lines. In the words of one of the franchisees, Leon Morales:
“You guys at Prenova saved me $1000 last month—thanks and keep it up!”
By following Prenova’s recommendation and changing to the new supplier this store is expected to save $9000 over the next 12 months.
While each store owners’ experience will vary, Prenova’s analysis indicates that rates can often be lowered yielding thousands of dollars annually in savings. In Texas so far, 12 franchisees are averaging about $6000 of savings each, on an annualized basis, due to Prenova’s actions. These savings are 100% retained by the franchisee. Prenova is now working with Quiznos to roll this program out nationwide.
“It was easy for our franchisees to do, and the savings were much more than expected,” said a Director for Quiznos. “When we saw the level of savings, we knew that the program would be a real winner with our franchise operators, and yet another value we could drive to them.”
