EMS Commissioning

Prenova’s EMS Commissioning service ensures system parameters and operating rules are implemented consistently across an organization. We begin by investigating each site in a customer’s portfolio that has energy management technology installed. This tells us which assets the system controls and which ones it doesn’t.  We then document the appropriate settings for these assets. This includes temperature set points, lighting schedules, and any other items that affect system configuration.  Finally, we set up each system according to corporate specifications.

Over time, EMS performance tends to degrade as field service personnel or company employees modify system settings. Prenova technicians can access most energy management systems remotely. This makes routine checks of each system’s configuration and settings possible without disrupting day-to-day operations. If system parameters are out of compliance, they can be easily returned to corporate standards.
